Our History
Our president and founder, Ben Skaletski, has been working with lasers since the early 1980s. His reputation for providing high-quality workmanship prompted him to start his own business, BK Laser, in 2008. But laser cutting was only the beginning.
During the planning phase, Ben contacted Kenny Smith, a former coworker, to join forces. Kenny had been screen printing since 1980 and because of the cohesiveness between laser cutting and screen printing, it was the start of the great team! After many successful years together, Kenny has since retired at the end of 2023.
BK Laser began with a laser and a screen press, then another laser and another press, and then another laser, other equipment, and more lasers and screen presses, and, and, and… We keep filling our toy box and building relationships with partners across the country to provide precise, high-caliber products for a variety of industries.
Over time, the BK Laser family has grown, but at the end of the day, we’re still big kids with big toys that deliver big time!
